The trade mission was financed by Agentschap NL International, the agency of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation.
The program started with a visit to the ENEA Casacccia Research centre, the R&D centre of Italië subject to the Ministry of Economic Affairs in Italy. Specialists from the Technical Unit for Renewable Energy Sources were invited to give presentations about investigations and innovations on PV, Consentrated Solar Plants (CSP) and Biomass projects. The visit ended with a tour on the CSP Plant.
During the afternoon, there were meetings with ENEL Green Power. After several presentations about the planned investments of Enel GP, individual one-to-one matchmakings were planned with purchasers and strategic developpers of Enel Green Power. In the evening, everyone was invited at the Ambassador's Residence for a network reception.
The theme of the second day was Unindustria Roma, the industrial
organisation of the region. After some introducing presentations,
an extensive matchmaking program was scheduled. Link2Italy arranged
about 200 meetings with Italian counterparts, which came from all
over Italy to Rome, especially for the meetings. Rabobank
International offered a networking lunch between the meetings.
